Praise God! I am working intently on the Faith Builders book. I have 160 pages left. I could have never guessed how much work it is to write these daily encouraging words. I get testimonies of God's power from people all over the world.

Many missionaries and Christian leaders say that Japan is a difficult place and write it off spiritually as if there is no hope. I don't believe it.

It has been a week in the US. I have to say I really missed being a Victory last week. Every time I leave the country, we always make the effort to be back to Tokyo so that we can be at church on Sunday. This trip I felt I needed to spend some time with my extended family in the US, so it has been longer than I liked. I really missed you all but was so happy to hear that you had a great service with a powerful worship and message.

On January 2, of the New Year one of our team went to Victory’s Koshigaya building and checked the mailbox for mail. Looking in, there was a stack of spare coins. We were surprised to see someone had thrown money into the church mailbox. Later on, as I began to spend time in the presence of Yahweh, out of the blue He said, remember those coins in the mailbox?

A person accepts Jesus as their Messiah, the first few weeks or even months are paradise. But for some people, that bad habits, those unclean thoughts, that sickness or disease, the root of bitterness... the dark things may seem to come back. The pastor says, well if you are born from above (again) then you should be fine. But obviously, they are not. "Are you really saved?"

While we were at church this Sunday, a very evil event occurred. People were knifed in the Akihabara area of Tokyo. Seven innocent people died many others were injured by a man who had the very same intentions of our enemy the devil. John 10 says the devil wants to kill, steal, and destroy.
