In 2007, two people prophesied over Victory and that we would be a church of a thousands.  We received that prophecy, however God had something much more to share about that on 2 February 2008.

While in God’s presence, Pastor received 5 points from our Heavenly Father about His plans for Victory.

1) 2008 is the beginning of thousands.

We should not be so focused on trying to make numbers.  We should be more focused on seeking God and sharing His love with the people.  Two people prophecied that we would be a church of a thousand.  God made it very clear the we will be a church of thousands.

You say but that could never happen in Japan.  About 30 years ago, our neighbor Korea was a Buddhist nation.  The Christians were few and far between.  But people of strong faith and preachers of the uncompromising word of God like Yonggi Cho and many others got excited about God.  Korean people got saved and started sharing the saving faith with people at the elevators in their condominiums, at the super market, at the bike park, at the station, at the restaurant… People began to reach out and love and help their neighbors.  Now we have a very “Christian” nation sending missionaries to the world.

At Victory, we have to be more focused about building ourselves spiritually and the leadership team.  We have to be ready as the beginning of the influx of people begins.

God has called Victory as a church of thousands.  Hallelujah!

2) Victory will be a nation changing church

Victory is not just a church in Tokyo, in Koshigaya City or in just and one particular location.  We are the beginning of the spark that is going to change Japan forever.  We knew this from November of 2006.  God has made it clearer.

We will change this nation because
2.1) We ourselves will be changed by the power of God through signs and wonders and more importantly the preaching of the Word of God.
2.2) We will reach out to those around us in our workplaces, our families and everywhere we go.  Thousands will be coming into the kingdom through the Victors.
2.3) We are not prejudice or concerned about people going to another church.  Nor are we a threat to other churches.  We will change this nation through our self-less community service and showing people right where they are at that God love them!

3) Victory will have an incredible youth ministry

Victory started out at the Tokyo American Club in 2001.  We saw 26 people accept Jesus through both small and large meetings there.  We started up a new ministry to the kids in our neighborhood.  Originally meeting in Pastor’s house.  Then moving to “Hokubu Shimin Kaikan” and believing God for our own place.  During that time starting up in Koshigaya, we were ministering mostly to kids.

When we got our building in 2005, we started with a lot of elementary schoolers.  The ministry expanded to young families.  Now, the church is a lot of family and young couples. 

God has shown that He is going to use us to reach the youth.  We will see many people coming into the church through an amazing youth ministry that He will raise up.  He will provide the people for this.

The Victory Worship Band is a part of this and music will be a major part of ministering to ourselves and getting charged to minister to others.

4) Financially blessed

We become like those we associate with.  Drugs addicts become that way because they hung around the wrong crowd.  We are addicted to God, His presence, His power, His anointing, His Word.  We cannot stand to miss a single Sunday of Worship at church.

God spoke that the Victors will be financially blessed because they are putting themselves under the wing of a church family that believes completely in God’s plan to prosper us.  Just as He did for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Daniel and all the others of the Word.

Those who put themselves under Victory, give into Victory in time, love, money, gifts (however they want to give unto the Lord) will find themselves extremely blessed.  Business ideas will come, new ministries will blossom and the money will be there because from pastor to the youngest baby, we are all givers into what God has called us to do.

5) Solid Relationships

Finally, God spoke to pastor about solid relationships.  Victory is a church of great relationships.  They are solid, unwavering and tempered towards caring towards each other.  We are not easily offended by each other or people we deal with outside the house.  We are great communicators.  If we have a concern, we will deal with it in love one to another.  We will not hold things against other Victors.  We are extremely quick to forgive.

People will see the solid relationships we have with and want to know our secret.

Growth
On 2 February, God was basically saying we will see growth.  The concern is not when these thousands and thousands of people in Japan will be affected, drawn in and changed by the power of God.  We know that it is coming.  Our concern is to make sure that each and every one of us rises up into the a place where we know God.  We must be ready with our church family and leadership team to meet the needs of our community.

The Word Brings Victory!
